Be Still and Trust in God

And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today; for the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never, see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be still.”

So, in today’s teaching, the Israelites saw the war chariots of the Egyptians coming from behind them. Whereas, right in front of them was the Red Sea.

Therefore, enveloped with fear, the Israelites wished they would have rather perished in Egypt than to be caught in such a situation.

Dear friend, my fervent prayer for you this day is that, you should never find yourself in a situation that you would prefer to rather go back to Egypt. Far be it from you.

The might of God begins to manifest when we have reached our limit.

My dear friend, whatsoever it is that we are passing through today has an expiry date.

We must know that it is a phase and it will surely pass away one day.

All what we need to do is to be still and have faith in God.

That God Who saved the Israelites from such a precarious situation and made them to walk on dry ground through the Red Sea, is still the same God yesterday, today and forever.

Of course, the Israelites had doubts. Nevertheless, at the encouragement of Moses, they agreed to put their trust in God.

Dear friend, that we, too, in our present predicament entertain some doubts right now, is rightly so because, we are only humans.

Nonetheless, today’s teaching encourages us to be still and put our faith in God and He will fight for us.

Have a fantastic day and a fulfilled week folks.
